ACT NOW: NJ cancer patients deserve a vote on A2337!
No cancer patient should have to choose between a life-saving medication and buying groceries to feed their family or pay their rent. Yet that is exactly what is happening as more and more New Jersey blood cancer patients find that their medications come with extremely high out-of-pocket costs, leaving many of them standing at the pharmacy counter wondering if they should skip taking a potentially life-saving medication, or skip paying the heating bill this month.
Assembly Bill 2337 would put limits on patient costs for prescription drugs, saving New Jersey cancer patients who are currently unable to afford their treatments or are drowning in debt. This bill was voted out of Committee with overwhelming support and had 21 cosponsors, including your legislator. We face one more hurdle – Speaker Prieto must schedule A2337 for a full vote on December 7th.
Email your legislator now asking them to urge Speaker Prieto to help cancer patients in New Jersey and post A2337 for a vote on December 7th!
The message below is ready to send with one click, but we know that your letter can have a much greater impact if you add a note about why limiting patient costs matters to you. Please add your note now.
