ACT NOW: Help New Jersey Cancer Patients
No cancer patient should have to choose between a life-saving medication and buying groceries to feed their family or pay their rent. Yet that is exactly what is happening as more and more New Jersey blood cancer patients find that their medications come with extremely high out-of-pocket costs, leaving many of them standing at the pharmacy counter wondering if they should skip taking a potentially life-saving medication, or skip paying the heating bill this month.
But this is about to change. The fate of the issue now rests in the hands of the Assembly, which has less than two weeks to vote on it before the Legislature recesses on June 30.
Email Assembly Speaker Prieto and share how important it is to make sure the bill receives a vote ASAP!
