Tell Senator Capito to introduce the Patients' Access to Treatment Act in the Senate
When a life-saving cancer medication falls into a "specialty tier," cancer patients often see the cost of that medication skyrocket – costing hundreds or even thousands of dollars per month for a single drug.
No patient should have to choose between paying for their cancer medication and paying for basic necessities. The Patients' Access to Treatment Act would require private health plans to limit patient costs for specialty tier drugs, and help cancer patients access the treatment they need to survive.
There were 142 members of Congress who signed on to this bill last year: now, tell your Senator to take the next step by introducing the Patients’ Access to Treatment Act in the Senate for the first time.
